healthy choices
Anonymous asked:

My body never feels really refreshed or healthy.

I’m 14 years old, 120 pounds, and 5’6.

I wanna feel good about myself (and lose a few pounds)without starving myself and being unhealty.

I’m going to be working out a lot this month, but what are some other ways to look and feel great?
And my mom does the cooking, so how can I cut down without her noticing?

Working out is the best way to feel and look great.

When you finish a workout, your body release a chemical called endorphins that make you feel great. The harder you work out, the more endorphins will be released, and the better you will feel. If you continue to work hard, you will feel and look better.

As far as eating, I’m not sure what you want to do, but for weight loss you should have a low carb diet, and vice versa for weight gain.

Don’t worry about starving yourself, just cut back on junk food, and do it in small steps. Once you begin to see results, you will have the motivation you need to keep it going.

by the sound of your weight and height, you are already healthy. to stay healthy, the best way is to exercise for sure! go running, biking, walking, anything. it will help tone you and make you feel better.
healthier food choices are easy to make. here are a few:
- drink water, milk, orange juice or 100% juice instead of pop, sugary sodas, coffees, etc
- skip the cheese and make dressing light on salads, subs, sandwiches, etc
- make breads whole wheat
- have grilled items, don’t eat fried, because there is so much fat and unhealthy things in them
- substitute fries, onion rings, etc for salad
- have fruit with chocolate syrup or light whipped cream for desserts instead of cakes, cookies, etc

Try to eat more fruits and vegetables. Watch your calorie intake and stay away from foods with hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, and with sugar alcohols. Limit your intake of sweets.
